In May 2014, sung and unsung heroes, local and national, shared their diverse gifts with an inspired audience at “Life is Gifted” TEDxTughlaqRd. The event was an evening of pure inspiration curated by Nehha Bhatnagar (Sarvam Foundation) at India Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi.

Objective.

TEDx was created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading.” The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. At TEDx events, a screening of TED Talks videos - or a combination of live presenters and TED Talks videos sparks deep conversation and connections.

Reaching Out.

I worked on the branding for this event. It was advertised all over New Delhi to grab the attention of people interested in learning and being inspired in the fields of education, fine arts, innovation, comedy, theatre, world music, entrepreneurship, exploration, dance and music.

Online Experience.

I also worked on the design for www.tedxtughlaqrd.org on a freelance basis with Sarvam Foundation and Crazyheads. The website takes you through the activities that took place on that day along with information about each speaker and similar events that may be of interest to the viewer.  

Speakers.

One of the inspirational talks of the night was given by Kuldeep Singh Rajput, a young innovative entrepreneur. As an Indian Student of Technology his primary goal is to innovate and design solutions which are low cost, fitting national mindset and targeted to serve Indian necessities. He designs solutions to cater the problems faced by disabled and innovates wearable healthcare diagnosis devices.
